James Vaughan： Hello! When you’re starting out in this creative business, whether it’s acting, writing, producing or whatever. I think the main underlying thing is always speak from your own voice, your own experience. Don’t imitate anybody else or imagine what story it is they want to hear, tell your own story. 

Don’t try and tailor it to anybody else. It’s your imagination, your heart and your voice. Go with that!

James Vaughan：Trained  at the Drama Centre London, James Vaughan has been an actor for over  thirty years, performing extensively in film, theatre, television, and  radio.

Theatre  includes: Around the World (Mint Theatre, New York); Great Expectations  (Vaudeville Theatre): Buddy (Victoria Palace): The Resistible Rise of  Arturo Ui (Liverpool Everyman); Romeo and Juliet (UK & European  Tour);

Hamlet  (Herodes Atticus Theatre, Athens); The Idiot (Contact Theatre). Film  includes: Wilde, Mrs Brown, The Commissioner, The Affair of the Necklace. Television includes: The Crown, Coronation Street, Poirot, Casualty, Wycliffe, The Grimleys, Spooks, Silent Witness, Wall of  Silence, Eleventh Hour, Whistleblowers.

詹姆斯·沃恩（James Vaughan）：曾在伦敦戏剧中心接受培训，詹姆斯·沃恩作为演员已有三十多年的经验，广泛涉足电影、剧院、电视和广播领域。

剧院作品包括：《环游世界》（纽约Mint剧院）；《远大前程》（Vaudeville剧院）；《巴迪》（Victoria   Palace剧院）；《阿图罗·乌伊的不可抗拒崛起》（利物浦Everyman剧院）；《罗密欧与朱丽叶》（英国及欧洲巡演）；《哈姆雷特》（雅典Herodes  Atticus剧院）；《白痴》（Contact剧院）。

李晖，中国武术太极拳传承人，第一个把中国太极拳，健身气功带入爱尔兰总统府，世界经济论坛青年领军年会和英国足球冠军联赛主场的旅英华人。弟子遍布英伦三岛及欧洲各国。英国中华艺术文化中心创办人，英国德印太极学院创办人，国际健身气功联合会副主席，英国健身气功协会主席。

Faye YIP, an inheritor of Chinese martial arts and Tai Chi. She was the first Chinese in the UK who brought Chinese Tai Chi and Health Qigong into the Presidential Palace of Ireland. The World Economic Forum's Annual Meeting of New Champions (AMNC) and the heart of English Football Championships. People she has trained are all over Britain and European countries. She is the founder of Chinese Arts and Culture Centre ,and the founder of  Deyin Taijiquan Institute (GB) in the UK, the vice chairman of the International Health Qigong Federation, and the chairman of the British Health Qigong Association.

水善于帮助万物而不与万物相争。它停留在众人所不喜欢的地方，所以接近于道。上善的人居住要像水那样安于卑下，存心要像水那样深沉，交友要像水那样相亲，言语要像水那样真诚，为政要像水那样有条有理，办事要像水那样无所不能，行为要像水那样待机而动。

正因为他像水那样与万物无争，所以才没有烦恼。上善若水，指最高的品质应该和水一样。上善若水，出自老子《道德经》第八章。

Hello everyone, this is we radio, idiom talk show. I am  James vaughan. The name of the story I will tell you today is: The highest good is like water.

"上善若水",  from Laozi's "Tao De Jing"'s 8th chapter, or "the highest good is like  water" is a wonderful proverb to live by and I use it daily in my  personal life, business and as an entrepreneur.

That's  because water is good at helping everything while never competing with  anything. Water lies in the most challenging locations, places no one  likes to be, so it is close to Tao.

Good  people should live in humble places like water, deliberately pushing  ourselves to be as deep and as genuine as water, be a kind and loyal  friend like water, speak as sincerely as water, leaders must be as organised and as rational as water, we need unbounded capabilities like water – without limitations, and be strategic like water – to wait and  act with precise timing.

Because water is patient and never eager, so it's always at peace without a care in the world.

To  sum up, "上善若水", the highest good is like water, means that our highest  personal qualities and strength of character should be akin to water.
