活动中，小记者采访了北卡州首位华裔州议员-刘广亚。 她讲述了美食节的发展历程：从最初主办方逐一拜访餐馆和同乡会邀请他们来摆摊，到如今报名一经开放就迅速爆满。这些故事展示了中华美食节的成长和社区越来越高的参与热情，也说明了这个活动已经成为大家喜爱的传统。

The annual Taste of China food carnival once again attracted many enthusiastic visitors, celebrating its fourth year with a showcase of Asian cuisine and live performances. The event was divided into two main areas: an exciting main stage and a spacious dining area featuring a variety of authentic Asian dishes. Different performance groups entertained the audience with lively shows, adding to the festive atmosphere. Co-hosted by the North Carolina Chinese Association and the City of Cary, the event featured 44 food vendors, providing a wide range of food options for visitors to enjoy and broadening the dining choices for the local community.

During the event, youth reporter Richard interviewed North Carolina’s first Chinese-American Representative -Ya Liu. She shared the history of the festival’s development: from the early days when organizers had to visit restaurants and associations one by one to invite them to participate, to now, when vendor spots fill up quickly as soon as registration opens. Her reflections showed the festival’s growth and the increasing enthusiasm of the community, highlighting how this event has become a beloved tradition that fosters cultural pride and unity.
