天地风霜尽，乾坤气象和。在这辞旧迎新的美好时刻，我谨代表福建省人民政府侨务办公室，向广大海外侨胞和归侨侨眷致以新春的祝福！
刚刚过去的2024 年，习近平主席再次亲临福建考察，为福建改革发展把脉定向、指路引航，令我们倍感温暖、备受鼓舞、倍增动力。这一年，我们紧密团结广大海内外侨胞，接续奋斗、笃行不怠，助力推动新时代新福建建设取得新成效。这一年，我们隆重纪念陈嘉庚先生诞辰150周年，成功举办第二届中国侨智发展大会、第十一届福建同乡恳亲大会等活动，更好推动广大闽籍侨胞与家乡发展“双向奔赴”、同频共振，共同奏响“侨助发展 发展助侨”的同心乐章。我们在家乡给2000万海外游子说一声辛苦，道一声感谢，寄一声平安！
旧岁已展千重锦，新年再进百尺竿。新的一年，我们将牢记嘱托、奋勇争先,紧紧围绕深入打好新时代新“侨牌”，实施全方位引侨资汇侨智聚侨力行动，持续擦亮中国侨智发展大会、世界闽商大会等活动品牌，依托宗亲乡亲、祖地文化等纽带，广泛凝聚侨心，加快筹建福建华侨博物馆，落实好各项惠侨利侨举措，让大家工作安心、生活舒心、发展顺心。在此，诚挚邀请各位乡亲常回家乡走走看看，尽情品味“福来福往 自由自在”的美丽乡愁。
更祝明朝风日好，梅花满眼踏新年。在新春佳节到来之际，让我们带着一年来的收获，带着对未来的期许，共同迎接、共同祝福乙巳蛇年。
Dear overseas Chinese and friends:
The harshness of the world has passed, and harmony reigns supreme now. At this beautiful moment of bidding farewell to the old and welcoming the new, on behalf of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the People's Government of Fujian Province, I would like to extend my Chinese New Year's greetings to the vast number of overseas Chinese and returned overseas Chinese and their families!
In the past year of 2024, President Xi Jinping visited Fujian for inspection once again, guiding and directing the reform and development of Fujian, which filled us with warmth, inspired us deeply and greatly strengthened our resolve. Last year, we closely united overseas Chinese at home and abroad, kept striving forward, persevered unremittingly, and helped promote the construction of a new Fujian in the new era to achieve new results. Last year, we solemnly commemorated the 150th anniversary of the birth of Mr. Chen Jiageng, and successfully held activities such as the second Overseas Chinese Talent Conference for Development and the 11th World Fujian Convention, created greater synergy between the vast number of overseas Fujianese and their hometown development, and jointly played the concentric melody of "Overseas Chinese Assisting Development and Development Assisting Overseas Chinese". To our 20 million compatriots overseas, we offer our heartfelt appreciation for your hard work, our sincere gratitude, and our best wishes for your safety and well-being from homeland.
The past year has unfolded like a beautiful brocade, and with the arrival of the new year, we look forward to even greater progress. In the new year, we will continue to hold our duties close to heart, strive for excellence, and focus on enhancing Fujian's reputation as a hub for overseas Chinese. We will implement comprehensive measures to attract overseas Chinese investment, gather global talent, and facilitate the development of overseas Chinese intelligence. We will further promote events such as the Overseas Chinese Talent Conference for Development and the World Fujian-Origin Entrepreneurs Conference. By leveraging the bonds of kinship, hometown ties and cultural connections, the overseas Chinese community will be brought together. We will expedite the creation of the Fujian Overseas Chinese Museum, and implement policies to ensure that overseas Chinese can work with peace of mind, live comfortably and develop smoothly. I sincerely invite all our compatriots to visit the hometowns often, to feel the beautiful nostalgia of "fortunes flow, live free".
May the weather be fair on the morrow, and the new year be greeted with a sight of plum blossoms filling the eyes. As the Chinese New Year approaches, with the rewards of the past year and hopes for the future, let's welcome and embrace the Year of the Yi-Si Snake.
