Fuqing’s GDP Exceeded RMB 190 Billion Last Year

In 2024, the total industrial output value of Jiangyin Port Economic Zone exceeded RMB 100 billion for the first time; There are many bright spots in Yuanhong Functional Zone of Fuzhou New District. Saneheld Food and Changde Protein were awarded as national key leading enterprises in agricultural industrialization, the first production line of Coconut Industrial Park was officially put into production, and Honggang Textile Indonesia Factory was built.

Project construction is an important support for Fuqing’s economic development. In 2024, Fuqing started construction of 106 major projects with a total investment of RMB 91.8 billion, including Fuyao global export base, Xinfuxing photovoltaic glass and other landmark projects. In addition, 63 projects including Wanhua Chemical PVC Phase I and Fuxuan Technology were completed and put into operation, with a total investment of RMB 39.5 billion.

In terms of attracting investment, Fuqing signed a contract to introduce 166 projects in 2024 with a total investment of RMB 72.8 billion.
