新加坡贸工部长颜金勇：优先进行职业培训来配合旅游业的发展

新加坡政府注资提升旅游业人才技能

徐锦莉（官委议员）向贸工部长提问：

（a）从2022年至2023年，每年通过旅游业发展基金（TDF）培训的员工数量及职业分布；

（b）这一时期通过旅游业发展基金培训的员工在旅游业不同领域填补的空缺数量及比例；

（c）预期创造的职位数量及性质。以及最近宣布的基金增补后培训机会的增加情况。

颜金勇（贸工部长）：自2020年以来，通过旅游业发展基金下的旅游业专业人员培训（TIP-iT）基金，共支持了900多名员工的培训。这些员工来自酒店、会展、景点、旅行社和邮轮等行业，并在可持续发展、活动管理和服务提供等领域接受了培训。所有旅游公司雇佣的本地员工都有资格获得旅游业专业人员培训的培训支持。

新加坡旅游局将继续鼓励公司优先进行员工培训，加快运营以跟上旅游复苏步伐。最近旅游业发展基金将为旅游公司提供更多机会，支持员工在领导力发展、技术、可持续性和伙伴关系建设等领域进行培训；支持旅游业培训的其他举措还包括由新加坡劳动力发展局（WSG）资助的新聘员工和再培训现有员工的职业转换计划，以及由新加坡精深技能发展局（SSG）提供的经批准课程的资助。

Ms See Jinli Jeanasked the Minister for Trade and Industry for each year from 2022 to 2023 (a) what is the number and occupation breakdown of workers trained via the Tourism Development Fund (TDF); (b) what is (i) the number and (ii) proportion of vacancies filled by workers trained under TDF with a breakdown by tourism domains; and (c) what is the projected (i) number and nature of jobs created and (ii) increase in training availability with the recently announced top-up to the Fund.

Mr Gan Kim Yong:Since 2020, the Training Industry Professionals in Tourism (TIP-iT) fund under the Tourism Development Fund (TDF) has supported the training of over 900 workers in total. These workers were from the Hotels, MICE, Attractions, Travel Agencies and Cruise sectors; and received training in areas, such as sustainability, events management and service delivery. All locals employed by tourism companies are eligible for training support under TIP-iT.

The Singapore Tourism Board will continue to encourage companies to prioritise employee training even as they ramp up operations to keep pace with tourism recovery. The recent TDF top-up will provide more opportunities for tourism firms to support employees for training in areas, such as leadership development, technology, sustainability and partnershipbuilding. Other initiatives that support training for the tourism sectors include theCareer Conversion Programmes funded by Workforce Singapore (WSG) thattrain new hires and reskill existing workers, as well as funding support provided by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) for approved courses.
