Fuqing First 3A Hospital was Successfully Established

Recently, the Provincial Health and Wellness Committee officially issued a document, confirming that Fuqing Hospital has been successfully promoted to a 3A general hospital, becoming the first county-level 3A hospital in Fuzhou, and also one of the first county-level hospitals in Fujian Province to pass the third-class review, which is of great significance for improving the overall medical level of Fuqing and ensuring people’s health.

It is understood that in the process of establishing the top three hospitals, Fuqing City Hospital has successively built five emergency centers, five clinical service centers and six regional sharing technology platforms, and established a county-level collaborative treatment network to effectively improve the overall treatment capacity and treatment effect of critically ill patients in Fuqing, so that the creation results can benefit all citizens more fairly. In June 2023, the second phase of Fuqing Hospital with a total investment of RMB 960 million was officially opened. The hospital area was expanded to 177.17 mu, the total construction area increased to 220,000 square meters, and the number of beds reached 2,000.
