The Annual Container Throughput of Fugang Container Has Exceeded 3 Million Teus

The reporter learned from Jiangyin Port Area of Fuzhou Port on December 30 that the annual container throughput of Fugang Container Terminal exceeded 3 million TEUs for the first time, with a year-on-year increase of over 5%, which indicated that the Jiangyin Port Area of Fugang Container Terminal has taken another solid step in building a world-class deep-water port.

As the core port area of Fuzhou Port, Jiangyin Port Area has continuously improved the automation and intelligence level of the port. Up to now, Jiangyin Port Area has opened more than 60 domestic and foreign trade routes, among which 13 have been selected as “Silk Road Shipping” routes, and 3 remote control quayside cranes and 6 automatic track cranes have been put into operation, thus building a smart port platform, accelerating the digital transformation of the port production service system and further enhancing the core competitiveness of the port. At the same time, berths No.6 and No.7 in Jiangyin Port Area have completed the main construction, and the port opening and acceptance work is currently underway. The project will be put into use in 2025.
