欢迎收听微电台，伊索寓言talk show节目，我是宇瑛。今天我给大家讲的伊索寓言故事是：青蛙和牛。

一头牛来到一个长满芦苇的水池边喝水。当他重重地溅到水里时，把一只小青蛙压到了泥里。

不久，老青蛙就怀念起这只小青蛙，并问他的兄弟姐妹们他现在怎么样了。

"一个巨大的怪物，"其中一个说，"用他的一只大脚踩住了小青蛙！"

"他很大，是吗？"老青蛙说着，把自己吹胀起来。"他和我现在一样大吗？"

"哦，大得多！"他们喊道。

老青蛙把自己吹得更胀，说："他不可能比这个大。”

但是，小青蛙们都说：这个怪物要大得多，大得多。

老青蛙只好不断地把自己吹得越来越大，直到一下子，她爆了。

这个寓言故事告诉我们，不要尝试不可能的事情。

Hello everyone, this is we radio. I am Nick Isaac. The name of the story I will tell you today is: The Frogs & the Ox.

An Ox came down to a reedy pool to drink. As he splashed heavily into the water, he crushed a young Frog into the mud.

The old Frog soon missed the little one and asked his brothers and sisters what had become of him.

"A great big monster," said one of them, "stepped on little brother with one of his huge feet!"

"Big, was he!" said the old Frog, puffing herself up. "Was he as big as this?"

"Oh, much bigger!" they cried.

The Frog puffed up still more.

"He could not have been bigger than this," she said. But the little Frogs all declared that the monster was much, much bigger and the old Frog kept puffing herself out more and more until, all at once, she burst.

Do not attempt the impossible.
