And connect with communities, because communities protect those key ecosystems in the world that are necessary for any of the humanitarian crises that we have. Human, humanity crises are like planetary. To do that, connect to those communities, connect to the environment. Connect to the “issue”."

嘉宾介绍

Luis Gilberto Murillo Urrutia , born on January 1, 1967, is a Colombian diplomat, mining engineer, and politician. He served as Minister of Environment and Sustainable Development of Colombia from 2016 to 2018, and attended the 16th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP16) to protect biodiversity and support ecological restoration. He also served as the governor of Chocó Province, where Afro-Colombians are in the majority.

Murillo was kidnapped in 2000 and went into exile in the United States until 2011, when he returned to Colombia. In July 2022, President-elect Gustavo Petro nominated Murillo as Colombia's ambassador to the United States.

子恩和爸爸

Zien Zhou , 20, a UK wheelchair racing athlete, have won many titles both home and abroad. He was the Gold Medallists in 100 / 200 metres and Silver Medallist in 400 Metres at World Junior Championship (Wheelchair racing) in 2019 in Switzerland.

His father Tony, has been his full time carer since Zien was two. Tony is a language tutor at Warwick University and he is also a feature’s writer in many publications in the name of Milko Dad UK.

周子恩 ，20岁，英国轮椅赛跑运动员，在英国和国际运动会上获得多次冠军。2019年，子恩代表英国在瑞士举办的世界青年锦标赛轮椅赛跑比赛中为英国获得两金一银的成绩。

欢迎收听微电台，成语talk show节目，我是英国奶爸。今天我给大家讲的成语故事是“八仙过海”。

相传，古时候有八位神仙：铁拐李、汉钟离、张果老、吕洞宾、何仙姑、蓝采和、韩湘子和曹国舅。这八位神仙个个神通广大，而且每个人都有自己的法宝。

铁拐李的法宝是一个葫芦，这个葫芦能炼出灵丹妙药，治病救人。汉钟离的法宝是一柄芭蕉扇。张果老整天倒骑着一头毛驴。吕洞宾的法宝是一把能降妖伏魔的宝剑。何仙姑的法宝是她手中的荷花。蓝采和的法宝是一个花篮。韩湘子的法宝是一支笛子。曹国舅的法宝是他手里的笏板，笏板一拍，就能发出美妙的声音。

有一天，八仙来到了东海边，想要过海去参加王母娘娘的蟠桃会。吕洞宾说：“不如我们各自使出自己的能耐来，看谁先到海的那一边！”

于是，铁拐李把自己的葫芦抛到了海上，汉钟离抛出了扇子，吕洞宾抛出了宝剑，何仙姑抛出了荷花，蓝采和抛出了花篮，曹国舅抛出了笏板，韩湘子抛出了笛子。七位神仙各自站在自己的法宝上，在大海上航行。张果老呢？他直接骑着毛驴下了海！

就这样，八仙各显其能，向着海对面出发了。这就是“八仙过海，各显神通”的故事。八仙过海比喻各自有一套办法或本领去完成集体任务。

Hello everyone, this is we radio, idiom talk show. I am Zien Zhou. The name of the story I will tell you today is: Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea.

According to legend, the Eight Immortals do not use boats when crossing the sea, and each has a set of spells. There is a proverb in the folk that "the eight immortals cross the sea, and each shows their magical powers". Later, we considered each immortal to be a different metaphor and that they showed their abilities or methods and to compete with each other.

Legend has it that eight gods including Lv Dong Bin went to the Pantaohui of the Queen Mother of the West, passing through the East China Sea, and saw huge waves surging.

Lv Dong Bin proposed that each should throw something into the sea, and then show magical powers to cross the sea.

So Tie Guai Li threw his crutches into the water and crossed the sea by himself.

Han Xiang Zi threw her flower basket into the water to cross the waves.

Lv Dong Bin, Lan Cai He, Zhang Guo Lao, Han Zhong Li, Cao Guo Jiu, He Xian Gu threw their Xiao, clapper, paper donkey, drum, jade plate, and bamboo cover into the sea, each standing on top of them and passing over the waters.

All eight metaphors have crossed the East China Sea by their magical powers. The Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea came from this legend. Each metaphor has a set of methods or skills to complete the task.
