More Than 20,000 Tourists Went to The Plum Blossom Festival

On February 15, in Guanzhong Village, Jingxi Town, Minhou County, citizen tourists met with plum blossoms. On the same day, the plum blossom season of the first “Four Seasons in Jingxi” eco-cultural tour in 2025, hosted by Minhou County Government, and hosted by Minhou County Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau and Jingxi Town Government, was grandly opened in plum garden, Guanzhong Village, Jingxi Town, attracting more than 20,000 people to visit Minhou Jingxi.

More than 200 acres of plum trees in the plum garden of Guxiang Sanfeng in Guanzhong Village, Jingxi are in full bloom. The red plums are like fire, passionate and unrestrained, and the flowers are in the air.

“I saw the news of the event on the WeChat of Fuzhou Daily, and brought my family to experience it. There is food and play in such a large plum garden, and there are all kinds of special handicrafts to appreciate. The tour experience is particularly good, glad you came!” Ms. Su from Fuzhou told reporters.

In the blooming plum garden, some tourists are dressed in Hanfu and strolling leisurely, as if through a thousand years. Paddle board, camping, horseback riding, fish watching... All kinds of outdoor activities with Jingxi characteristics in plum garden attract tourists to stop.

It is understood that the plum garden here has been planted ancient plum for 100 years, and it has been planted here for 13 years, covering an area of more than 200 mu, making it the largest ancient plum planting base in Fujian Province. There are many varieties in the park, such as Gongfen Plum, Zhusha Plum, Green Plum and so on, which are currently in full bloom. Driven by the “My hometown, My Construction” activity led by the Party construction, at the beginning of this year, a 3.3-kilometer rainbow road connected 112 county roads and plum garden in series, creating more convenient conditions for tourists to enjoy flowers.

This is a gathering of Jingxi specialties. In the “Plum Garden Flower Event” activity area, activities such as painting plum, hairpin plum, drinking plum and singing plum are splendid. The Plum Life Market is very lively, with soft glutinous rice, crisp oil cakes and delicious chicken soup, and all kinds of Jingxi cuisine are on the scene, which makes tourists feast their mouths. Oil-paper umbrellas, antique ornaments, lacquerware, etc. fully display the charm of traditional handicrafts. There is also a cultural IP exhibition area at the event site. The goldfish in Guanzhong Village, the ancient official road in Guanxi Village, the noodle making skills in Puqian Village, and the green wine brewing skills in Guandong Village are displayed intensively, so that the industrial advantages and cultural characteristics of Guanyuanli District in Jingxi Town have quietly entered people’s hearts.

This is a blessed land. Jingxi Town is located in the western suburbs of Fuzhou and the north bank of Minjiang River, only 16km away from the city center.
