中国新加坡商会委员与青年发展部代表出席京津冀国际青年人才“双百”对接会服贸会专场

On September 14th, representatives from the Singapore Chamber of Commerce in China (SingCham China) and the Chamber’s Youth Development Department were invited to jointly attend the Recruitment Fair for Global Talent (GT²HR) 2024 at CIFTIS. This event was co-hosted by the Beijing Overseas Talents Center, the Tianjin Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, the Hebei Provincial Department of Science and Technology, and the Hebei Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security. It aimed to provide more opportunities for international youth talent to connect with enterprises and industries, fostering their career development and integration in the Jing-Jin-Ji region.

9月14日，中国新加坡商会委员会成员与商会青年发展部代表受邀共同出席2024京津冀国际青年人才“双百”对接会（GT²HR）服贸会专场活动。本次活动由北京海外学人中心、天津市科学技术局、河北省科学技术厅、河北省人力资源和社会保障厅联合主办，旨在为国际青年人才提供更多与企业和行业对接的机会，推动国际青年在京津冀地区的职业发展与融合。

During the event, the Chamber’s Deputy Treasurer, Mr Sean Lim,emphasised in his speech SingCham China's efforts in promoting youth talent exchange between China and Singapore. He pointed out thatSingCham China has been committed to fostering deeper cooperation and interaction between young people in key areas like innovation and entrepreneurshipas an important platform for advancing youth talent development between the two countries.

In 2023, the Chamber formally established the SingCham Youth Development Department,aiming to cultivate more bilingual and bicultural talents and to create more platforms for exchange and cooperation between youths from both countries, driving mutual development in innovation and entrepreneurship. The Chamber’s participation in this event is part of its long-term strategy to strengthen the integration and development of youth from China and Singapore in the Jing-Jin-Ji region.

商会副财长林天春在会上发表致辞时强调了中国新加坡商会在促进中新两国青年人才交流方面所做的努力。他指出，作为推动中新青年人才发展的重要平台，中国新加坡商会始终致力于通过实际行动，促进中新两国青年在创新创业等关键领域的深入合作与互动。

随着北京国际化进程的加快，国际青年在这里拥有更多的职业发展机会，因此商会在2023年正式成立了青年发展部，旨在培养更多双语双文化人才，为中新青年搭建更多交流合作平台，并推动双方在创新创业领域的共同发展。此次参与活动，也是商会长期战略的一部分，旨在加强中新青年在京津冀地区的融合发展。

Also attending the event was Kelly Ong Yun Jie (SingCham Youth Development Department Strategy Intern). She expressed thatthis event not only provided international youths with invaluable opportunities for exchange, but also deepened their understanding of China’s market and policy environment, creating new opportunities for future international cooperation.

Representing SingCham Youth Development Department at the event, Kelly introduced the Chamber’s projects and activities, as well as the support and resources provided by the Youth Development Department to encourage more young people from both countries to actively participate in bilateral innovation and entrepreneurship cooperation. SingCham will continue to strengthen cooperation with various sectors both domestically and internationally, promoting the development and integration of young talent on the global stage. Through such high-level international cooperation platforms, we not only provide opportunities for youth but also lay a solid foundation for future cooperation between China and Singapore.

一同出席本次活动的还有商会下属青年发展部战略实习生王韵洁，她表示此次对接会不仅为国际青年提供了宝贵的交流机会，更进一步深化了国际青年对中国市场及政策环境的认知，推动了未来国际合作的长远发展和新机遇的创造。对接会为国际青年提供了难得的交流平台，能够帮助他们更好地了解中国市场需求和当地政策环境。

在活动现场，王韵洁作为青年发展部代表为到访商会展位的各国青年们介绍商会旗下的项目与活动及青年发展部青年发展所提供的支持与资源，以鼓励更多中新青年积极参与双边的创新与创业合作。中国新加坡商会将继续加强与国内外各界的合作，推动青年人才在国际舞台上的发展与融合。通过此类高层次的国际合作平台，我们不仅为青年提供了机会，更为中新两国的未来合作奠定了坚实的基础。

Under the event’s theme, “Opening Up, Sharing New Opportunities,” two major announcements were made. First, the Beijing Overseas Talents Center, together with several international chambers of commerce in Beijing, including SingCham China, launched the “International Youth Career Development Promotion Initiative,” which encourages young people from countries like France, Germany, Japan, and Singapore to come to Beijing for internships, employment, and entrepreneurship, with the aim of fostering their international, professional, and career development. Second, the first batch of work bases under the Jing-Jin-Ji Foreign Talent Service Alliance was officially unveiled, marking a significant step in the coordinated efforts of the three regions to provide services for foreign talent. This will provide international talent support for the high-quality coordinated development of the Jing-Jin-Ji region.

在本次活动主题——“开放京津冀 共享新机遇”之下，活动现场推出了两项重磅发布。一是北京海外学人中心联合包括中国新加坡商会在内的多个在京国际商协会，发布了“国际青年职业发展促进行动”，推动法国、德国、日本、新加坡等国的外籍青年来京实习、就业及创业，旨在促进国际青年的国际化、专业化、职业化发展。二是首批京津冀外籍人才服务联合体工作基地正式揭牌成立，将成为京津冀三地协同开展外籍人才服务的重要抓手，更好地为京津冀高质量协同发展提供国际化人才支撑。

活动内容与现场回顾

The event featured three main exhibition areas: the “International Youth Talent Reception Hall,” the “Urban Internationalisation Service Display Area,” and the “Policy Promotion Zone,” which comprehensively covered all aspects of international youth talents coming to China for career development, from job matching to policy interpretation.

本次活动设有“国际青年人才会客厅”、“城市国际化服务展示区”、“政策宣介区”三大展区，全方位涵盖了国际青年人才赴华求职从职业对接到政策解读的各个方面。在“国际青年人才会客厅”环节，京津冀的多家用人单位与来自全球的国际青年人才进行了面对面的交流对接。

城市国际化服务体验区

The “Urban Internationalisation Service Display Area” set up a one-stop service experience zone, providing international youth living in Beijing with services and support in areas such as education, internships, innovation and entrepreneurship, and integration into local life.

政策宣介

In the policy introductory session, relevant departments gave a detailed explanation of the “Study in Beijing+” policy, covering the processes for obtaining work permits and residence permits, and introduced policies related to international students working in Beijing.

在政策宣介环节，相关部门详细解读了“留学北京+”政策，涵盖了工作许可和居留许可的办理流程，并对国际留学生在北京工作的相关政策进行了介绍。
