Explore the volcanic island isolated on the sea

Zhangzhou Binhai Volcanic Landform National Geological Park is one of the first 11 national geological parks in China. It is also the only volcanic park with ocean landforms in China; it covers an area of more than 100 square kilometers and has a coastline of more than 20 kilometers, mainly distributed in Niutou Mountain and Linjin Islet, Nanding Island, Xiangsahn, Yandun Mountain, Qianhu Bay and other sea areas. After investigations by experts, it was confirmed that it was 26.44 million years to 4.1 million years ago. There were three volcanic eruptions in the coastal area of ​​Zhangzhou, which eventually formed a rare and precious volcanic landscape in the world.

Zhangzhou Zhangpu Volcanic Island Resort is located in the natural ecological scenic area of the volcanic island of Zhangpu County, Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province. In a sunny day, it’s better to travel by car immediately rather than just think about it!

We met farmers who were drying the grain crop under the sun, and the grain covered the entire path.

We finally arrived, and there was a road parking lot at the gate of the scenic spot.

Go straight ahead and you will see the volcanic plaza at the entrance to the scenic spot. The background of the monument is the columnar jointed basalt modeling wall. On the right hand side of the signpost is the ticketing station. The window is different for online booking and on-site redemption.

Along the way, it was full of greenery and beautiful scenery accompanied by flowers. In this sunny day, the mood became infinitely pleasant.

If you are a careful observer, you will find many carved basalt stones and flowers and plants in the scenic area.

After all, the highlight of the island is volcanic rock, so you might as well enter the "museum" to see the formation of the volcanic island.

A few little kids ran on the stone steps and jumped on the lawn... Looking at the blue sky and the sea in the distance, the blue grass and yellow flowers around you, you can feel yourself very peaceful.

Taking a walk around the whole volcanic island, I saw a row of RV camps on the way back. If there was enough time, it’s very tasteful to staying here for one more night, for it is suitable for a family to travel leisurely.
