朱京阳 ：“开幕式的时候，我就和现场的一些哥伦比亚的小朋友一起，看他们来了我觉得很可爱，就和他们照了个相，并且发了一个推特。推特的文字大致意思就是： 这些孩子们他们将来会有更加美好的明天，但是需要我们今天脚踏实地的开始做，保护环境，保护生物的多样性，共同携手应对气候变化 。小孩们非常天真，非常可爱。说到中国的时候，他们都表现出了浓厚的兴趣。有的孩子说一定要到中国去看一看。我说欢迎你们去，也是欢迎老师组织一些孩子们去。他们来自于太平洋沿岸的图尔沃省，就是外交部长家乡那个地方。他们实际上隔着太平洋，如果用一些想象的翅膀的话，隔着太平洋可以遥望太平洋另外一侧的中国。 这也是我们中国和哥伦比亚，虽然隔着太平洋，但太平洋不是一个天线，而是一个交往合作交流的纽带 。我们也希望能够支持哥伦比亚政府，进一步开发相对落后的太平洋沿岸的地区，当然 最终的目标，是为我们年轻的一代，不管是中国还是哥伦比亚，为他们创造更好的未来 。”

Jingyang Zhu: "At the opening ceremony, I was with some Colombian children at the scene, and I thought it was lovely to see them come, so I took a picture with them and sent a tweet：These children will have a better tomorrow, but they need us to start working today to protect the environment, protect biodiversity, and work together to combat climate change.The children are very innocent and very cute. When it comes to China, they all show great interest. Some children said that they must go to China to have a look. I said welcome you to go, but also welcome teachers to organize some children to go. They come from the Pacific coast province of Turvo, where the foreign minister is from. They are actually across the Pacific Ocean, and if you use some imaginary wings, you can look across the Pacific to China. It is also the case that we, China and Colombia, are separated by the Pacific Ocean, but the Pacific Ocean is not an antenna, but a bond of exchange, cooperation and exchange.We also hope to support the Colombian government to further develop the relatively backward areas along the Pacific coast, and of course the ultimate goal is to create a better future for our young generation, whether it is China or Colombia."

Huan Zheng (Joy) is the Founder and Executive Director of the Youth Leader Fund operating under the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation. The objective of the Youth Leader Fund (CBCGDF) is to create sustainable development and provide solutions for urgent issues about social development alongside youth leaders in tech innovations and culture & art. Joy has shared her insights at the UN Climate Change Conference on behalf of Youth for five consecutive years.Joy is the Deputy Secretary-General of G20 Young Entrepreneur Alliance China Council, and she also serves as Director of the International Center of Sustainability (ICS).

第二百零七期：同舟共济

In the Same Boat

欢迎收听微电台， 成语talk show节目，我是郑欢，今天我们来给大家讲讲“同舟共济”的故事。 

春秋时期，吴国和越国经常互相打仗。两国的人民也都将对方视为仇人。有一次，两国的人恰巧共同坐一艘船渡河。

船刚开的时候，他们在船上互相瞪着对方，一副要打架的样子。

但是船开到河中央的时候，突然遇到了大风雨，眼见船就要翻了，为了保住性命，他们顾不得彼此的仇恨，纷纷互相救助，并且合力稳定船身，才逃过这场天灾，而安全到达河的对岸。 

同舟共济，比喻团结互助，同心协力，战胜困难。也比喻利害相同。

Hello everyone, this is we radio, idiom talk show. I am Andy Purvis. The name of the story I will tell you today is: In the same boat.

During the Spring and Autumn Seasons, Wu' s people and Yue' s people often fought each other for all sorts of reasons. In the spring it would be for who could get the best seeds and plants and, in the Autumn, it would be for who had the best harvests and who could get the best prices from the Markets across the river. Sometimes the battles would become intense as both peoples raced to get onto the first boat of two boats to cross the river! 

Once again, this year, the people would try to beat each other to be on the first boat and they fought as true enemies.

This year, there was only one boat as the other had to be taken for repairs so people from both sides had to take the one across the river together. When they boarded the boat, they stared at each other ready to throw each other' s harvest overboard but when the boat was driving to the middle of the river, a raging storm came and threatened to capsize the boat. 

In order to save their lives, they ignored each other' s hatred of one another and made the incredible decision to help each other and worked together to save both harvests by joining together bodily to stabilise the hull, all of them running from side to side to stop the boat from succumbing to the fury of the storm and escaping maelstrom the opposite bank of the river safely.

From this ancient story we are reminded of the lesson that by working together when facing impossible odds we are able to put our differences aside and see how working together benefits our mutual interests.
