王小龙大使出席2024新西兰—中国商品博览会开幕式并致辞

【2024年9月28日 星期六 新西兰华新时报讯】据中国驻新西兰大使馆消息，9月20日，王小龙大使与驻奥克兰总领事陈世杰、驻克莱斯特彻奇总领事何颖在奥克兰共同出席2024新西兰-中国商品博览会开幕式，王大使为开幕式致辞。新西兰艺术、文化和遗产部长保罗·戈德史密斯、贸易部长托德·麦克莱（视频）、奥克兰市长韦恩·布朗出席并致辞，纽埃基础设施和财政部长塔图伊特邀出席。博览会主办单位中国商务部外贸发展事务局、中国国际商会秘书处、广东省贸促会，支持单位新西兰中国商会、新中贸易协会、新西兰雇主与制造商协会、奥克兰商会、新西兰粤商会等商业组织代表，新西兰国会议员陆楠、张隽浩等两国政商界、参展企业代表400余人出席活动。

王小龙大使在致辞中表示，中新建交五十多年来，在双方的共同努力下，经贸合作取得了长足发展。尽管有内外因素的不利影响，双边贸易仍保持了较高水平，为新西兰经济发展提供了助力和支撑。中国始终视新西兰为重要的合作伙伴，愿在相互尊重、相互包容、互利共赢的基础上，不断丰富两国全面战略伙伴关系的内涵。今年上半年，新自华进口贸易额同比增长2%，这说明新西兰市场对中国产品有相当的认可度。新中商品博览会已连续举办了三届，今年是博览会提质升级的第一年，展会规模和组织工作都有明显的变化。希望在主办方的积极努力和两国各界朋友的大力支持下，新中商品博览会成为双边经贸合作的一张新名片，不断推动中新互利友好合作关系取得新进展，更多更好地造福两国人民。

戈德史密斯、麦克莱两位部长在致辞中表示，中新关系尤其是经贸关系对新西兰非常重要，愿意继续加强双方经贸务实合作，并在基础设施、教育、科技、创意与文化等领域创造更多合作机遇。奥克兰市长韦恩·布朗表示，50多年来，互利共赢一直是双边关系的主题，博览会的成功举办很好地证明了中国经济的韧性以及为南太市场带来的机遇。

本次博览会为期三天，一百多家参展企业和机构涵盖了制造业、家居产品、农业、食品饮料、绿色新能源、旅游、物流、媒体及创意产业等多个领域。

今天很高兴和陈世杰和何颖两位总领事一道参加在奥克兰举行的2024年新西兰—中国商品博览会。在此我对本次博览会的开幕表示热烈祝贺！对两国工商界长期以来对中新关系发展的大力支持表示衷心感谢！

It is a great pleasure to join you at the 2024 New Zealand-China Products Expo together with Consuls General Chen Shijie and He Ying. I would like to extend my warm congratulations on the opening of this expo! I also express my heartfelt thanks to the business communities of both countries for their long-standing and strong support for the development of China-New Zealand relations.

今年的博览会由中国商务部外贸发展事务局、中国国际商会秘书局、广东省贸促会联合主办，新西兰中国商会、新中贸易协会、新西兰雇主与制造协会、奥克兰商会、新西兰粤商会等商业组织给与了大力支持，这体现了中方对中新双边务实合作的高度重视，以及新西兰工商界对推动深化中新合作的强烈意愿。

This year's Expo is jointly organized by the Trade Development Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce of China, the Secretariat of the China Chamber of International Commerce, and the China  Council for the Promotion of International Trade Guangdong Committee. It has received strong support from business organizations such as the China Chamber of Commerce in New Zealand, the New Zealand-China Trade Association, the New Zealand Employers and Manufacturers Association, the Auckland Business Chamber, and the New Zealand Guangdong Chamber of Commerce. This reflects China's firm commitment to practical cooperation between China and New Zealand, as well as the strong willingness of the New Zealand business community to promote and deepen cooperation between the two countries.

中新建交五十多年来，在双方的共同努力下，经贸合作取得了长足发展，双方互为重要贸易伙伴，尤其是中国已连续十多年成为新西兰第一大贸易伙伴、出口市场和进口来源地。去年，新西兰对华贸易总额达到380亿新元，今年上半年，双边贸易额已达188亿新元。尽管有内外因素的不利影响，双边贸易仍保持了较高水平，为新西兰经济发展提供了助力和支撑，为当地贡献了税收和就业，同时为消费者带来物美价廉的产品。通常情况下，新西兰的朋友们更多关注新对华出口，而容易忽视自华进口。今年上半年，新自华进口贸易额同比增长2%，这说明新西兰市场对中国产品有相当的认可度。其中既有传统的服装、箱包和家电，也有新兴的新能源汽车、光伏、农机等产品，这些都是中国优质的、有竞争力的产品，对满足当地消费者多元化需求，控制生活成本，助力绿色转型和基础设施建设，促进经济发展都发挥了积极作用。

In the past 50-odd years since the establishment of China-NZ diplomatic ties, through the joint efforts of both sides, bilateral trade and economic cooperation has made significant and rapid progress. China has been New Zealand's largest trading partner, largest export market and largest source of import for over ten years.

Last year, the total volume of trade between New Zealand and China reached NZD 38 billion, and in the first half of this year, our bilateral trade defied headwinds by reaching NZD 18.8 billion. The substantial trade relationship between the two countries has provided significant support for New Zealand's economic development, contributing to local tax revenues and employment, while also bringing high-quality and affordable products to consumers. Very often, New Zealand partners tend to focus more on export to China rather than import from China. In the first half of this year, New Zealand's import from China grew by 2% year-on-year, reflecting the broad popularity enjoyed by Chinese products on the New Zealand market. These imports include not only traditional goods like clothing and home ware & appliances, but also emerging products such as new energy vehicles, photovoltaic equipment, and agricultural machinery. These are high-quality and competitive products from China, which play an active role in meeting local consumers' diverse needs, mitigating living costs, supporting green transitions and infrastructure development, and broadly promoting economic growth for New Zealand.

无论进口还是出口，中新贸易在双方努力下不断向前发展，有力证明了双边关系的本质是互利共赢，经贸务实合作始终是整体双边关系的重要组成部分。

Be it import or export, the trade between China and New Zealand has continuously advanced through the efforts of both sides, convincingly proving that the essence of bilateral relations is mutual benefit and win-win cooperation, and that practical trade and economic cooperation a key pillar of the overall bilateral relationship.

今年以来，两国高层互动频繁，中方李强总理、王毅外长成功访新，新方贸易部长、气候变化部长成功访华，第五次中新生态环境部长对话在新举行，双方达成一系列新的共识，在经贸、气变、人文交流等领域务实合作持续推进、势头良好。对中方来讲，我们自始至终视新方为重要合作伙伴，愿在坚持相互尊重、彼此包容、互利共赢、造福人民的基础上，不断丰富双方全面战略伙伴关系内涵。

Since the beginning of this year, there have been frequent high-level interactions between the two countries. Chinese Premier Li Qiang and Foreign Minister Wang Yi successfully visited New Zealand, while New Zealand’s Trade Minister and Climate Change Minister made successful visits to China. The fifth China-New Zealand Ministerial Dialogue on Climate Change was held smoothly in New Zealand, culminating in a series of new agreements. Practical cooperation in areas such as trade, climate change, and cultural exchanges continues to advance with strong momentum. For China, we have always regarded New Zealand as an important partner and are willing to continuously enrich the content of our comprehensive strategic partnership, on the basis of mutual respect, mutual accommodation and mutual benefit.

尽管目前世界形势发生了很大变化，双边关系发展也遭遇了一些挑战，但中方对与新方发展互利合作关系的承诺是坚定的。我们相信，双边关系发展符合双方的共同利益和两国民众、企业界的期待。也希望新方与中方相向而行，聚焦合作，妥处分歧，继续在相互尊重、互利共赢的基础上，实现双边关系的稳定健康发展。

Despite significant changes in the current global landscape and some challenges in the development of bilateral relations, China remains firmly committed to developing a mutually beneficial cooperative relationship with New Zealand, which we believe is in the fundamental interest of both countries and meets the expectation of the peoples and business communities of both countries. We also hope that New Zealand will work together with China, focusing on cooperation, properly managing differences, and continuing to promote the stable and healthy development of bilateral relations.

大家知道，今年上半年，中国经济增长5%，在全球主要经济体中名列前茅。前8个月，规模以上工业增加值、服务业生产指数、社会消费品零售总额、固定资产投资同比分别增长5.8%、4.9%、3.4%、3.4%。虽然当前面临一些困难，我们会经历调整，但中国经济基础好、韧性强，稳中有进发展态势不会改变。 

As you may know, China's economy grew by 5% in the first half of this year, leading major global economies. In the first eight months, the added value of the industrial sector increased by 5.8%, the production index of the service sector increased by 4.9%, total retail sales of consumer goods increased by 3.4%, and fixed asset investment increased by 3.4% year-on-year. Although we are currently facing some challenges and will go through a process of consolidation and adjustments, the strong fundamentals and resilience of China's economy remain intact, and the steady progress of its development will continue.

前不久结束的中国共产党第二十届中央委员会第三次全体会议，通过了进一步全面深化改革、推进中国式现代化的决议，重申了扩大高水平开放的决心、与世界共享中国发展机遇的承诺。中国的不断发展和对外开放，将为包括新西兰在内的世界各国提供更多机遇，这也是中新关系不断发展的根本保障。

At the recently-concluded Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, a resolution was adopted to further deepen reforms and advance the Chinese path to modernization. It reaffirmed China's determination to expand high-level opening-up and its commitment to sharing development opportunities with the rest of the world. China's continued development and opening-up will provide more opportunities for countries worldwide, including New Zealand, which serves as the fundamental guarantee for the ongoing development of China-New Zealand relations.

新中商品博览会已连续举办了三届，今年是博览会提质升级的第一年，展会规模和组织工作都有明显的变化。感谢两国相关机构和参展参访企业对博览会的大力支持。今年11月，我们还将在上海举办第七届进博会，希望新西兰企业能够抓住机遇，积极参与。我相信，在主办方的积极努力和两国各界朋友的大力支持下，新中商品博览会成为双边经贸合作的一张新名片，不断推动中新互利友好合作关系取得新进展，更多更好地造福两国人民。

The New Zealand-China Products Expo has been held for three consecutive years, and this year marks the first year of its upgrade, with significant changes in the scale and organization of the event. We acknowledge the relevant institutions from both sides and the participating businesses for their strong support of the Expo. In November, we will also hold the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai, and we hope that New Zealand businesses will seize this opportunity and actively participate in it. I believe that, with the efforts of the organizers and the support from friends in various sectors of both countries, the Expo will become a new symbol of bilateral trade and economic cooperation, contributing to continuously advancing the mutually beneficial and friendly relations between China and New Zealand, bringing greater benefits to the peoples of both nations.
