关于Kim (金)医生

We are happy to announce that there is a Periodontics and Family Dental Clinic in RTP, NC-- Campus Walk Dental Care. It is started by Dr. Steven J Kim (Periodontist and Implant Surgeon) and Dr.Wenjing Pang (General Dentist). They provide patients with the most efficient and comprehensive care. They pay close attention to patient’s periodontal health. With a periodontist in house, they can conduct comprehensive procedures in one visit. This saves patient money, time, and hassles! Campus Walk Dental Care is conveniently located in Durham NC, by the West Campus of Duke University. About Dr. Kim

Dr. Kim is a board (American Board of Periodontology) certified periodontist and dental implant surgeon. He obtained DMD degree, Certificate in Periodontology, and MS in Oral Biology from University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine; and PhD in Oral and Craniofacial Biomedicine from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

He has more than 20 years of experience in periodontology and general dentistry. Dr. Kim specializes in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of gum disease. He can help you with anything from advanced gum disease to basic cosmetic procedures. He is good at scaling and root planing, soft tissue and bone grafting, osseous surgery, crown lengthening, surgical and non-surgical periodontal disease treatment, and implant.

Dr. Kim is certified in Laser-Assisted New Attachment Procedure (LANAP). This procedure offers a minimally invasive laser treatment for gum disease. Compare with traditional gum surgery, the laser treatment can reduce swelling and recession, and stimulate the body's natural healing response to regrow lost bone and tissue. Patients typically feel less pain and heal faster.

To minimize patient’s anxiety and discomfort, Dr. Kim offers Sedation Dentistry (IV sedation), which is a safe and effective way for patients to feel more relaxed during his dental procedures. Dr. Kim is an adjunct professor at the periodontal department of UNC at Chapel Hill. He lectures courses and teaches grad residents and pre-doc dental students in clinics. About Dr. Pang

After obtaining a PhD degree from University of Florida in Entomology and Nematology, Dr. Pang started her career as a research scientist for Bayer in the Research Triangle area. Dr. Pang has published more than 10 publications in peer reviewed scientific journals. In her free time, she loves volunteering and help people. Dr. Pang found her passion in dentistry during volunteering activities. After shadowing several dentists, she decided to pursue her 2nd doctoral degree from UNC Adams School of Dentistry, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a decision she is proud of to this day.

Dr. Pang has been practicing dentistry in the RTP area for years. She believes everyone deserves great dental care. She personalize treatment plan and payment with patients. · At Campus Walk Dental Care, tooth cleaning are done by dentists. All deep cleaning are done by our specialist, Dr. Kim.
