Florika FINK-HOOIJER, Director-General in the Directorate-General of Environment of the European Commission. Serving as Director-General of the Directorate-General for Environment since 2020, she has been instrumental in shaping the European Green Deal. Her work focuses on circular economy, biodiversity and zero pollution policies. A priority in her tenure has been advancing biodiversity initiatives, including the EU's Nature Restoration and the Anti-Deforestation Law.

北宋末年，解州闻喜县人赵鼎，少年时已经通读了经史百家著作。21岁时考中了进士。由于他敢于批评权贵，在士大夫中享有很高的声望。
公元1126年，金大举南侵，宋钦宗惊慌失措，召集百官商议。不少大臣主张割让土地求和，可赵鼎极力反对。钦宗昏庸懦弱，把黄河以北的广大土地割让给了金国。公元1127年春，金军俘获了徽钦两帝，北宋王朝灭亡了。
当年5月，宋钦宗的弟弟康王赵构，在南京建立了南宋王朝，就是宋高宗。高宗为了激励士气，保住半壁江山，就起用李纲、宗泽、张浚（读Jùn）等主战派代表人物。
赵鼎由于敢说敢为，很受宋高宗赏识，当了御史中丞要职。后来，秦桧专权受高宗重用，就千方百计排挤赵鼎。不久，赵鼎生了重病，临死前亲手写了“气作山河壮本朝”的诗句。
后人把“气作山河壮本朝”简化成“气壮山河”，形容气势或气概雄壮，足以使山河更加美丽。

At the end of the Northern Song Dynasty, Zhao Ding, a native of Wenxi County, Xiezhou, had read through hundreds of classics and historical works when he was young. At the age of 21, he passed the Jinshi exam. Because he dared to criticize the powerful, he had a high reputation among scholar-officials.
In 1126 AD, when Jin aggressively invaded the south, Song Qinzong panicked and called a hundred officials to discuss this. Many ministers recommended the ceding of the land to seek peace, but Zhao Ding strongly opposed it. Qin Zong was faint and weak, and ceded the vast land north of the Yellow River to the Kingdom of Jin.
In the spring of 1127 AD, the Jin Army captured the Hui and Qin emperors, and the Northern Song Dynasty was destroyed. In May of that year, King Kang Zhaogou, the younger brother of Song Qinzong, named Song Gaozong, established the Southern Song Dynasty in Nanjing. In order to boost morale and save half of the country, Gaozong used Li Gang, Zong Ze, Zhang Jun (read Jùn) and other representatives of the main battle party. Afterwards, Qin Hui's exclusive power was reused by Gaozong, and he did everything possible to exclude Zhao Ding. Soon, Zhao Ding became seriously ill, and before he died, he wrote the poem "Qi Zuo Shanhe Zhuang Dynasty."
Later generations simplified this to "the magnificent mountains and rivers.”
