Full Capacity Grid Connection of Fuzhou’s First Centralized Photovoltaic Project

Recently, the 30 MW centralized photovoltaic project in Xincuo Town of CHN Energy (Fuzhou) Thermal Power Co., Ltd. realized full-capacity grid-connected power generation.

The project uses 564.16 mu of fish pond space in Xincuo Town, Fuqing City to build a centralized photovoltaic power station, with an installed capacity of 30 MW. It adopts the full-capacity online mode, which can provide 48,340.86 trillion kWh of clean electricity for the power grid every year. Compared with thermal power plants with the same power generation, it can save about 14,694.55 tons of standard coal and reduce about 41,000 tons of carbon dioxide, 4.92 tons of sulfur dioxide and 7.41 tons of nitrogen oxides every year.

The relevant person in charge of CHN Energy (Fuzhou) Thermal Power Co., Ltd. said that enterprises firmly grasp the opportunity period of new energy development, adhere to the policy of storing more and building quickly, and form a development pattern of “planning a batch, storing a batch, starting a batch and putting into production a batch”. Up to now, the total photovoltaic reserve is 1.159 million kilowatts, and the new photovoltaic reserve capacity is 759,000 kilowatts in 2024, including 600,000 kilowatts of centralized reserve and 159,000 kilowatts of distributed reserve, and 140,000 kilowatts of photovoltaic projects have been put into production. There are three centralized photovoltaic projects under way, with an installed capacity of 1 million kilowatts.
